- Tourist Visa: Issued to individuals visiting the UAE for leisure or tourism purposes. It’s typically valid for 30 or 90 days and can be extended in some cases.
- Visit Visa: Similar to a tourist visa, but typically issued to individuals visiting friends or family in the UAE. It’s also valid for 30 or 90 days and may be extendable.
- Transit Visa: Granted to travelers who have a layover in the UAE and need to leave the airport during their transit.
- Employment Visa: Issued to individuals who have secured employment in the UAE. It allows them to live and work in the country for a specified period. It’s usually sponsored by the employer.
- Residence Visa: Granted to individuals who intend to reside in the UAE for an extended period, usually sponsored by a family member or an employer.
- Investor Visa: Available to individuals who invest a significant amount of money in a UAE-based business or property. It allows them to reside in the UAE for a specific period.
- Student Visa: Issued to students enrolled in educational institutions in the UAE. It permits them to reside in the country for the duration of their studies.
- Mission Visa: Granted to individuals traveling to the UAE for official or diplomatic purposes, such as government officials, diplomats, or representatives of international organizations.
These are some of the main types of visas in the UAE, but there might be other specialized visas depending on specific circumstances or agreements between the UAE and other countries. It’s essential to check the latest regulations and requirements with the UAE embassy or consulate before applying for a visa.
